Barry’s Tea – Shipping Policy
1.0 All Deliveries
1.1 Our shipping providers are An Post and DHL. We offer a choice between Standard Untracked Delivery or Express Tracked Delivery where possible. In certain regions, we can only offer one delivery option at present.
1.2 We aim to process and dispatch your order within 2 working days (Monday to Friday excl. Bank Holidays). At certain times this may not be possible (for example during promotions, holiday periods). Orders are processed chronologically, with preference given to Express Tracked Delivery orders during peak periods.
1.3 If you do not receive your order within 21 days after your order has been dispatched, please contact us directly by Telephone: +353 21 4915000 or e-mail: email@example.com
1.4 We will replace lost or damaged orders free of charge.
1.5 If your order is returned to us due to several failed delivery attempts, non-collection, or an incorrect/inaccurate address, we cannot refund any shipping costs.
1.6 If you wish to cancel your order, you must contact us directly (Telephone: +353 21 4915000 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org) by 10 am the day following your order confirmation. After this, your order may have dispatched, and we will be unable to refund any shipping costs.
1.7 Certain remote areas may be subject to additional shipping charges. If these charges are not applied at the time of placing your order, this will be discussed with you before your order being dispatched.
1.8 Our shipping providers may not be able to deliver to certain countries at times for reasons of politics, government, natural disaster or operational crises. In such circumstances, your shipment will be returned to our mail centre and held till such a time that they can deliver to you.
1.9 When ordering goods from our site for delivery overseas you may be subject to additional import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you and we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
2.0 Standard Untracked Delivery
2.1 Orders shipped with our Standard Untracked Delivery service are NOT tracked. You should allow 21 working days from the date of dispatch for delivery – however in the majority of cases parcels do arrive well within this timeframe. Please Note – postal services are experiencing delays due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. Following non-receipt of your order after the 30 working days, we will offer for the order to be resent or refunded.
2.2 We aim to process and dispatch your order within 2 working days (Monday to Friday excl. Bank Holidays). At certain times this may not be possible. You will receive a shipping confirmation once your order has been dispatched.
2.3 There is a 2kg weight limit for Standard Untracked Deliveries. Orders exceeding this limit will not be offered Standard Untracked Delivery at checkout and should reduce or split the order for standard post or choose our Express Tracked Delivery option.
3.0 Express Tracked Delivery
3.1 Express Tracked Deliveries are shipped via An Post in Ireland and the UK, and via DHL to all other destinations. Track and trace are available on all Express Tracked Deliveries.
3.3 We aim to process and dispatch your order within 2 working days (Monday to Friday excl. Bank Holidays). At certain times this may not be possible (for example during promotions, holiday periods). Once your order has been dispatched, a notification will be sent enabling you to track your delivery.

3.5 We ask that you provide both email and mobile contact details to ensure you receive this notification. Your details are required to manage your delivery only, not for marketing reasons.
3.6 Deliveries to Ireland and the UK typically take 2 days from the date of dispatch, and delivery times for all other destinations can be found in Table 1 below.
3.7 We pass on to our customers only the exact courier cost to us, which is calculated based upon product weight and the destination country.
3.8 Within our fees there is a Fuel Surcharge. This surcharge can vary from month to month therefore shipping fees may change slightly month to month.
3.9 Due to the current Covid-19 situation, an Emergency Zone Surcharge is included within our fees. This surcharge can vary from month to month therefore shipping fees may change slightly month to month.
3.10 Express Post is not currently available in certain regions due to postal restrictions or customs constraints, including (but not exclusively) Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
3.11 There is an 8kg weight limit for Express Tracked Deliveries. Orders exceeding this limit will not be offered a delivery option at checkout and should reduce or split the order.

4.0 Shipping Changes to the UK
Because the UK has now left the European Union, it is considered a third country for customs and VAT purposes. Like Ireland, tea is considered a zero-rated product for VAT in the UK. However, we encourage our UK customers to familiarise themselves with local VAT and Import regulations before making a purchase. All reasonable endeavours have been made to provide full transparency on the costs UK customers will incur, but we cannot predict any additional charges at the point of delivery.
